Light Fantastic : Chemical biologists are advancing our understanding of light's role in the natural world and expanding its applications in the research lab. We use light (especially with fluorescence) as a tool to understand living biological system, aiming to address pressing problems in biology and human health. We take multidisciplinary approaches integrating chemistry, biology, and biomedicine.
